Lake Manyara NP

Lake Manyara National Park brings a remarkable variety of landscapes into one safari. Beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment, lush groundwater forest gives way to acacia woodland, open floodplains, wetlands, and the alkaline lake. Each change in scenery brings another opportunity to observe the life that thrives here.

A game drive may reveal elephants, giraffes, baboons, and an abundance of birds. The park is also known for its tree-climbing lions, though sightings are never guaranteed. With its contrasts of forest, wildlife, and wide-open views, Lake Manyara offers an inviting introduction to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.
